Shimmer Madness

Wow can you believe that it's just 2 weeks until Christmas? 2012 has just flown by for me, how about you all? What are you plans for Christmas and New Years?
For today, I have a review of Shimmer polishes; specifically Carmen, Lianna and Karina. I was really really impressed with these polishes, the formula was great and easy to work with. I was also surprised how easy it was to remove, considering the glitter content. I've got plans for these babies for a mani for my husbands work Christmas party!
All of these Shimmers can be layered over other polish, or used solo being opaque with about 2-3 coats, depending on your preference of glittery-ness.

First up is Carmen. This Shimmer has amazing golden medium and micro glitter with just a hint of copper tone in it to make it pop. You can layer Carmen over other polishes or with 2-3 regular coats, it will give you a golden glitter bomb mani. This picture is 3 coats with no base color or top coat.

Here we have Karina, which so far is one of my top favorite red glitters. Karina boasts a burgandy wine jelly base with a plethura of deep red, pink and black glitters. This is 3 coats with no top coat.

Last but certainly not least, is Linna.
Lina is a beautiful clear base with green, teal, red micro glitter and medium teal round glitter. The red really sets it off and brings out the different greens and teals.  This is 3 coats with no base color and no top coat.
Well my lovelies, these are just a few of the amazing polishes that Shimmer has available for all your glitter polish obssession needs!  Shimmer Polish is on Etsy, go check it out!
