Today I have a beautiful mani courtesy of some polish I received from one of my polish birthday clubs. This box was from Jen who sent me Wet N Wild's Fergie Line in Going Platinum, Estee Lauder in Black Iris, and China Glaze in Techno.
This is 1 generous coat of EL's Black Iris - so sorry for the crumby photo
I was really impressed with Black Iris, the formula is absolutely smooth, and even where I streaked it a bit, it settled very nicely back into itself and was smooth as satin when it was done. It is a deep purple that almost looks black, and is apart of the Pure Color Collection by Tom Pecheux. I had no problem applying, and it was just perfect to apply - not to runny or thick - it went on like a dream, with hardly any clean up. The brush is a great size too. There just isn't anything that I don't like about this polish.
Needless to say, I couldn't resist stamping on top of it. It's such a lovely color alone, but with such a lovely dark base, how could I not stamp on it? I used the WnW in Going Platinum to stamp with Shanty 24 butterfly. On my ring finger, I applied at quick dash of China Glaze Techno. As much as I like the stamp, I'm seriously in love with the Techno - annnndddd it just might end up topping off this mani again when the tip wear kicks in.
So what do you think??? Pretty awesome nail mail eh?!? Well my friends, there is lots more - this is just the first one! I have some pretty amazing and lovely birthday nail polish club sisters. :-)
