PCFC August 7 - Turquoise, Aqua or Jade, Freestyle.........AND Essie Polish

Soooo the other day I was working on my stamping (rather impatiently) and thought it would be a good combo to stamp silver over my recent acquisition of Sinful Colors Why Not. Heck yeah, that silver would pop against the SC!
After my 2 coats Why Not was dry, I whipped out my trusty Wet n Wild Silvivor and went to work, as it had worked well for the berry and pinks I used it over about a month back.
Yeeeaaah, not so much,,,,it was a great idea in my head and should have just stayed there!
It was so bad, I only posted it in the Adventures in Stamping on Facebook and was just too depressed to bother with it on the blog. (Yes, I'm lazy I know)
Anywho, a sweet young lady by the name of Brittany on our AIS page was kind enough to suggest Essie metallic for stamping, and low and behold, while I was in Target today I passed by their lovely display and picked up Good As Gold. And again because I'm lazy, not having planned the next challenge for the Purple Crumpet Fairy Challenge like a good challenger should,,I decided to try my new Essie.
That's all I got. WOW.
It's truly an amazing polish for stamping. I've never been huge fan of metallic, however, now I have all kinds of mani's planned for my new polish child and planning my next trip to Target to pick up some more colors, so thanks Brittany!!
And to the ladies/gents that have blogged or posted about Essie metallic nail polish for stamping, I'm truly sorry I didn't listen, but Brittany still gets the credit. :-)
Here we have 2 coats of China Glaze in Turned Up Turquoise with my new lovely Essie Good As Gold stamped with plate SH20 and completed with a coat of Seche Vite.
Let me tell you my polish loving friends, I can't stop looking at my mani!
And on top of all that......I'm on time for this challenge! It's a great Tuesday already! ;-)
Happy Polishin' everyone!
