PCFC - August 1st Summer Splatter

I've been hearing about splatter manis, and seen several on Instagram, but have been a little reluctant to try one. But when I saw the Summer Splatter for the Purple Crumpet Fairy Challenge, I knew I better get a move on, and work out the technique.
I'm pleasantly surprised to say that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I took the advice of several bloggers who have done many a splatter, and taped my fingers to minimize clean up. The tricky part for me was just figuring out how hard to blow through the straw, and how much polish to aquire in the straw. Once I got that figured out, I was good to go. This was my very first one, and as you can see, it got better as I went on down through my fingers.
My thumb and first fingers were obliterated with too much polish, and by the time I got to my ring finger, I was starting to get the hang of it. Clean up wasn't too bad, although the blues kill me. I'm still learning how to remove blue clean up from my fingers without smudging and smearing it further.
The polishes I used were my base coat of NYC Fuschia Shock, Sinful Colors Savage, Wet n Wild Tickled Pink, and Sinful Colors Let's Talk.
Any other tips on splatters are most welcome!
